Job Description

The Audit Intern assists the engagement team with their audit-related activities. They will work alongside professionals who will guide and support them in enhancing their professional skills while gaining a relevant experience in the business.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

Working closely with our engagement team on all phases of the project

Identifying, assessing, and informing senior staff members of audit-related issues

Assist the engagement team in audit documentation

Assist in vouching of client documents relevant to the audit such as but not limited to receipts, invoices, contracts etc.

Assist with or prepare financial statements and other related reports

Perform research and data analysis as part of performing analytical procedures

Qualifications

Stable internet (minimum of 5-10mbps)

Has internship as a requirement in their curriculum

Availability to work (remotely) at least 4x a week.

Full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accountancy

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment in a remote set-up

Strong attention to accuracy and detail

Strong technical aptitude

Positive attitude and willingness to learn
