The incumbent will play a key role in supporting the HR recruitment function, as well as other areas such as performance management, time and attendance, and preferred hands-on experience on payroll. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of HR best practices to drive the overall HR operations, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives and develop long-term strategies to support organizational growth.

  • Attend weekly HR meeting, collaborate with hiring managers on manpower requirements and update hiring managers monthly on the progress of the recruitment status

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Monitor market trends in hiring practices and ensure our strategy is in line with the market

  • Lead end to end recruitment and talent acquisition process ensuring timely and quality hires.

  • Ensure and administer the onboarding of new joiners and offboarding of staff leavers including conducting orientations, exit interviews, exit clearance

  • Administer internal transfers, contract renewals and conversions of employment matters and monitor, oversee performance appraisal systems and issuance of regularization letters

  • Manage end to end payroll process, ensuring compliance with internal policies and Philippine Labor laws.

  • Prepare and generate all reports to government agencies and prepare payroll journal entries and submit them to account department.

  • Assist in handling employee and labor relations concerns, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies

  • Lead and execute in various HR projects/ activities such as collaborate with universities, employee survey, etc

  • Undertake any other duties as may be assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience:

  • Proven experience in managerial roles handling all facets of HR

  • Familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Experience in managing day-to-day HR operations.

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Proactive and resourceful with a strong sense of initiative.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High level of professionalism and integrity.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Certification in HR (e.g., CHRM, CHRP) is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments

  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with HR metrics

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
