Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages and oversees the department and subordinates to ensure effective completion of their responsibilities.

- Establishes work standards, performance measures, goals and objectives - Assigns deliverables/tasks to subordinates

- Evaluates work performance, tracks and reviews work progress of subordinates - Provides direction and guidance

- Coaches, counsels and motivates subordinates - Recommends personnel action/movement - Interviews prospective employees for the department and recommends hiring

- Conducts job orientation and technical trainings

- Identifies and recommends training program/seminar for staff development

- Issues and implements disciplinary actions as needed in concurrence with the Immediate Superior


  • Creates continuously new product ideas that will fit with the company’s business model • Plans, creates and implements systems and processes of new products
  • Conducts process analysis and problem resolution for new and existing products
  • Develops quarterly marketing plans and projects, promotions and marketing aids
  • Designs market research projects to assess current product range and new product introductions • Analyzes market conditions and evaluates market trends and competitions to determine what product enhancements should be made.
  • Reviews product data to ensure that the department is kept up to date on new developments regarding competitors and companies products
  • Provides the marketing team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to market the product
  • Monitors daily production and loan releases of the department • Formulates new policies related to marketing and amends existing ones as necessary
  • Maintains business partnership between the company and its clients • Conducts tele-marketing • Spearheads and delivers marketing saturation drives
  • Reports regularly the performance of the department to the Immediate Superior
  • Maintains client and employee contact in the work area to ensure quality service is being applied • Handles clients complaints or concerns escalated by the staff
  • Responsible for tagging/booking of accounts
  • Handles the Petty Cash Fund of the department and its replenishment • Represents the department during Management Committee meetings and other internal/external meetings • Performs other work-related functions and duties that may be assigned from time to time


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Preferably with degree in Business Management, Sales or Marketing, or another related course.

• At least four (4) years work-related experience in marketing or sales, two years of which is in a Managerial or Supervisory capacity

• Should have technical marketing skills, relevant product and industry knowledge • Should be a strategist and is capable to think out-of-the-box.

• Has excellent communication skills (both written and oral), decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, presentation skills, interpersonal skills and networking skills

• Capable of solving amicably customer’ s/client’s complaints

• Should be persuasive, goal-oriented, assertive, creative, innovative, adaptable and analytical.

• Has the ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.

• Computer-proficient
