We're seeking a talented Purchasing Officer to join our growing Manila team and support procurement operations across Australia and the US. As a Purchasing Officer, you'll manage purchase orders, liaise with international suppliers, and contribute to the success of a brand that's trusted by adventurers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full purchase order lifecycle (initiation, monitoring, management) for national and international suppliers.
- Ensure timely production, shipment, and delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
- Address quality issues and lead in-production parts resourcing.
- Reports to the Americas Operations Manager.
- Collaborates with all departments, including leadership, vendors, and suppliers.
- Follows global purchasing procedures with a dotted line to HQ Operations for compliance.
Skills, Experience & Qualification
- Strong foundation in Purchasing or Procurement.
- Proven experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Expertise in ERP and MRP Systems, particularly NetSuite and NetStock.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional analytical skills to assess demand vs. supply and evaluate supplier pricing.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate favorable pricing agreements with suppliers.
- Highly organized with the capacity to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Adaptable to dynamic environments and skilled in developing proactive contingency plans.
- Excellent communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Self-directed and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
