Job Description

Cebu2World Development Inc., a subsidiary of Megawide Corporation, is looking for a results-driven and people-oriented Public Market Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at the Carbon Public Market. Reporting to the Operations Head, this role will be responsible for supervising vendors, market operations staff, and ensuring compliance with market policies while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise daily public market operations and oversee compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Monitor the performance and activities of vendors, kargadors, and karumateros to ensure adherence to guidelines. 

  • Document and report incidents and operational concerns. 

  • Implement and monitor vendor policies, agreements, and stall utilization. 

  • Coordinate sales tracking and assist in analyzing vendor sales performance and market trends. 

  • Support sales promotions, vendor activations, and operational initiatives to boost market performance. 

  • Serve as liaison between the market administration and vendors, addressing concerns and coordinating initiatives. 

  • Assist in stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and regular vendor communication. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or any related field. 

  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience in market administration, retail operations, or a combination of any of these. 

  • At least three (3) years of supervisory experience. 

  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills. 

  • Familiarity with public market dynamics and stakeholder engagement is a plus. 

  • Willing to work onsite at Carbon Market, Brgy. Ermita, Cebu City, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
