Job Description

Job Summary:


Implements RCBC’s sustainable finance strategy in accordance with the Bank’s Sustainable Finance Framework and BSP directives.


How will you contribute:


  • Implements RCBC’s Sustainable Finance Framework through analysis of the Bank’s portfolio according to the eligibility criteria under the Bank’s Sustainable Finance Framework and development and maintenance of formula-driven and analytical reports on the allocation and impact of the Bank’s sustainable portfolio
  • Provides decision-making support on the determination of appropriate thresholds for fund-raising activities of the Treasury Group based on the Bank’s sustainable portfolio
  • Administers the Bank’s end-to-end application of quantitative climate risk analysis tools and ensures timely completion of results
  • Conducts extensive research relevant to the Sustainable Finance initiatives of the Bank, such as those that pertain to compliance with relevant BSP directives, involve sustainability advocacies which the Bank may pursue or maintain, and enable the Bank to align initiatives with those of its subsidiaries or other members of the Yuchengco Group of Companies
  • Conducts visits to project locations of advocacies supported by the Bank to ensure adequate tracking of such project’s progress
  • Collaborates with various teams in the Bank in completing RCBC’s Sustainability Report
  • Serves as the accountable officer for the maintenance and update of the Sustainable Finance disclosures in RCBC’s website and accomplishment of Sustainable Finance presentation materials for use in internal and ROC meetings and external ESG events


What will make you successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably a major in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or relevant fields
  • Proficient knowledge of general policies and principles governing portfolio evaluation
  • With more than three (3) years industry experience in banking specifically in risk analysis
  • Knowledge of banking practices as well as regulatory policies, systems and procedures
  • Must be detail-oriented and have keen sense and initiative in complying with reporting requirements and guidelines
