A DBA is responsible for the day-to-day management of the database environment. This includes monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting. The DBA will sometimes be responsible for database design and implementation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Monitor and tune the database environment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot issues with databases and related systems
• Design and implement databases to meet business requirements. (Good to have).
• Perform data modeling, data analysis, and data administration tasks
• Perform backup and recovery operations
• Manage database administration tasks such as logins, users, and permissions, among others.
• Minimum of 6 years and above experience as a DBA or Database Administrator

Technical Skills

· MS SQL Server , Oracle, Commvault, Windows, Linux / Unix

Nice to have

· Netbackup, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB etc.

Soft Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• To be successful DBA, you must be able to solve problems quickly and effectively, learn new technology quickly, have patience, and show initiative.
• Other Details:

· Amenable to work on Morning and Mid-Shift Schedule
