Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, maintaining general ledger accuracy, preparing monthly and annual financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. You will collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes, while mentoring junior accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with audits.
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial operations.

Qualifications:

• Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Financial Management, Economics, Accounting or other related business course
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
• Must be a CPA
• Preferably from Shared Services/BPO with background in US GAAP
• Should have an understanding of general accounting principles including financial statements
• Must be proactive, motivated, detail-oriented, a team player and knows how to work with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and metrics
